The Libra astrology sign represents symmetry and balance. This corset was designed by Lucy's Corsetry as the answer for bodies that have similar measurements for both rib cage and hips.
The Libby is identical to the Libra in every way except the waist reduction is less dramatic. In the years since the Libra was released, we noticed that there was a real need for a less extreme version. The Libby is a perfect "stepping stone" corset for those who want to waist train and eventually graduate to the original Libra. Ideal for "ruler" or "apple" shaped wearers, or muscular wearers who don't have a lot of squish.
Through clever design, the Libby still looks surprisingly curvy and does not give a "straight" figure. This is why we prefer to call it the Libra Gentle, or just "Libby", instead of the Libra Slim.
- If you wear the original Libra with a small lacing gap: go up 1 size in the Libby
- If you wear the original Libra laced closed: go up 2 sizes in the Libby

Its length is versatile; with a princess seam of 9 inches, it is shorter than a regular underbust corset but longer than a waspie. For more information about the Libra and Libby, check out our page: Libra Silhouette
Size charts
Start by finding the corset size that corresponds to your natural waist measurement, then size up or down to get the best fit at the hips and underbust. You want a snug fit at the underbust and hips with the compression at the waist.
We recommend a 1.5" to 3" lacing gap for comfort and adjustability during the day. We do not recommend anything larger than a 3" lacing gap.
