Playful, charming, and full of bounce, just like the beloved baby hippo that inspired it. The Happy Hippos Novice Corset in Moodeng brings a whimsical twist to beginner corseting. Designed with a cheerful hippo print and named after the internet-famous pygmy hippo “Moo Deng,” this corset captures her spirited energy and adorable roundness. Made from lightweight polyester printed fabric and finished with matching gray trim and laces, it features flexible steel boning for gentle shaping and everyday comfort. Whether you're new to corsets or just love fun fashion with personality, Moodeng is here to make you smile.
The Novice is made with 2 layers instead of 3, this silhouette needs little to no seasoning and is ideal for those that are new to corsetry.

Sizing charts
Start by finding the corset size that corresponds to your natural waist measurement, then size up or down to get the best fit at the hips and underbust. You want a snug fit at the underbust and hips with the compression at the waist.
We recommend a 1.5" to 3" lacing gap for comfort and adjustability during the day. We do not recommend anything larger than a 3" lacing gap.
